Port Mansfield Texas Deep Sea Fishing 02/27/2016

I had the opportunity to go out after Red Snapper the other day and the boat did fairly well as you can tell by the pics. The bite was very light and hard to feel the fish and lots of bait stealers in the 12 inch range.

The limit here is 4 fish over 15 and I gave away fish early thinking we would be into some hogs. FInally got my 4 and one bruiser but not as good as some days I have gone out. You never can tell what you will get but at least its a day on the water.

Went with Osprey Cruises and those deck hands worked very hard. We moved the boat often enough to make me believe the captain was doing his best to put us on fish.

Fishing Report November 6, 2014 Texas Fishing

There are a lot of species of fish sought in the waters of Texas including freshwater and saltwater types. Probably the most sought after fish in the south is the Channel Catfish.
