Read MoreWayne took us up Baughman Creek and then over to Lone Rock to a nice lunch spot; lots of water coming down the creek due to the abundance of rain we have had this summer. The moisture has really helped the wildflowers, some are on their second blooming.

Mary & I will bring the hot dogs, buns, chili, condiments, paper products and drinks. The rest of you please bring a dish to share with everybody and a chair to sit in.
We will meet at 7PM Monday night at our usual place, if it is really windy we will go back into the trees to the NW about 200 yards. Go East of S F 1 mile to Del Norte Peak road (345) and then about 4 miles to the road(340) to the left. Go about 1/8 mile and take a left to the gate where you should see some vehicles parked.
We will have our dogs, etc. and then take a stroll over to the lookout, then back to the fire for s'mores.........hope to see everyone there.
Some time ago, I was injured while at work and had to make some major changes in my life. After the seeing a lot of specialist, I was left with permanent injuries that I still suffer with today. Some further injury occurred from the treatment from the different doctors which I wont go into except to say they were serious and permanent.

Read MoreMy dad and I went up to a local stream today to fly fish. He is 82 years old and so we went to a good place that is easy for him and I to get down to the water. We didn't get to stay too long as the rains came and chased us back down the mountain but he did manage to catch a nice 12 inch brown and I had 7 browns all on dry flies. Today the elk hair caddis in a number 16 was the ticket altho I did get a few on a nymph dropper below the caddis.
